Hey there! I’m Kalina! I am a Visual Development Artist and Art Director based in Los Angeles, CA.
I’m currently working full time at Skydance Animation (5+ years) where I’ve grown from Intern to Apprentice to full fledged Visual Development Artist. Often inspired by my Slavic roots and folk art, I love to weave pattern and texture into my work to create lush, whimsical, and lived-in worlds.
In my spare time I’m either Art Directing Indie Animation projects, at the park with my pup Greta Grrwag, at Pilates, or crafting at home.
